For over a decade, Winning Teams has been refining a proprietary process that uses proven sporting principles, the most modern computer and internet technologies, and a strong understanding of human psychology. This proprietary process has been used to organise corporate knowledge and to map its successful dissemination through
team structures. Winning Teams was launched in 1994, based on the concept that the principles underlying successful high performance sporting teams could be successfully translated to the workplace. Back then, our client list quickly came to include the major banks in the South African Banking industry; an industry which continues to be reputed as one of the worlds most advanced. We were able to help our clients achieve their strategic vision in the areas of customer service improvement, sales generation, process improvement, and compliance assurance. By 1997, our concepts had evolved into the foundation of today’s Proprietary Process. This evolution was made possible through interactions with hundreds of clients within several diverse industries, including financial services, mining, retail, transportation and education. We continued to work with our clients to help them leverage strategic value within their organisations by bringing their management and employee work teams together, enhancing communication and teamwork. Our successes lead to excellent referrals, and the organisation expanded through organic growth. In 2000, following extensive research, we had developed our internet-based capabilities allowing for the rapid dissemination of knowledge, and real-time improvement monitoring. This allowed us to reach larger numbers of employees across national and international boundaries, and to expand our operations throughout the UK and Europe. By 2003, we had consolidated our process by which corporate knowledge is structured into an architecture that facilitates fast and effective learning. This knowledge architecture adds significant value for our clients, and allows them to distil their corporate knowledge rapidly, and to focus their management on identifying and delivering critical strategic information. The original concept that was first applied in 1994 has evolved over the many years to become the underlying Proprietary Process and client specific Services that we proudly offer today. This evolution has been made possible through the effective utilization of new research, and modern technology and more importantly, through the input of our growing management team, and the feedback of thousands of satisfied users. |
